Exhaust extraction systems for fire and emergency service stations
The wide range of devices offered allows for selecting the right solution for fire departments. All NORFI rail exhaust extractors have an automatic disconnection nozzle release system.
The design of these devices allows for a quick and safe exit of the fire truck from the garage while eliminating harmful exhaust fumes from the workspace. In addition to reliable exhaust gas extraction, NORFI’s systems enable trouble-free and smooth operation in conditions where every second matters.

Exhaust extraction system in Ligota Mała
We visited the new OSP station in Ligota Mała with a camera, where we installed the FTS track system. The FTS is a new solution designed for the fire brigade in the NORFI’s offer. In addition to a competitive price, the FTS is characterized by, among others:
• electromagnetic nozzle attachment
• automatic nozzle disconnection
• for vehicles with a lower-side exhaust system
• fan start: alarm bell
• one vehicle in the garage

Rails and profiles in fire station systems
The rail extractors for fire and emergency service stations are based on rail channels and profiles made of aluminium and constitute a rigid supporting beam of the system on which the trolley, extraction hose, nozzle and other equipment elements of the system.
Aluminium rail channels and profiles are available in the three variants of mounting the nozzle to the vehicle’s exhaust pipe.
I have an EURO 5-compliant vehicle. Do I still need an exhaust gas extraction system?
Despite the introduction of new European emission standards EURO 5 and EURO 6, which limit the emission of nitrogen oxides (NOx), hydrocarbons (HC), carbon oxides (CO) or particulate matter (PM) in exhaust gases, this does not mean that being in an environment polluted by exhaust extraction is safe for health.
According to Poland’s applicable health and safety regulations, engine exhaust gases should be discharged outside the garage, workshop, etc. The recommended solution for this purpose is an exhaust extraction system.
